The Nuggets‘ Summer League team has been announced. Also, let’s look at the schedule too:
Nuggets Summer League Schedule:
All games for the Nuggets will be shown on Altitude TV. Get your DVR ready, skip work, or drag a TV into your office … or not because the games are in the evenings (unless you work at night, then skip what I just said).

Who is on the roster?
Point guards:
Erick Green, 22 years-old: Nuggets rookie and 46th pick in the draft. We’ll get to see the rookie for the first time and how his game looks against a mix of NBA players and NBA hopefuls. He shot 39-percent from the three-point land and 51-percent on two pointers for Virginia Tech in addition to being named the ACC Player of the Year by the media (the coaches elected Shane Larkin). He has yet to sign an official contract with the Nuggets.
CJ Harris, 22 years-old: He averaged 15 points in his senior season for Wake Forest to go along with shooting 43-percent from three-point range and 84-percent from the free throw line. Those are two areas where the Nuggets are definitely looking to improve. Harris stands 6’2″ and will likely need to transition into a point guard role to have a shot in the NBA. I talked with Harris when he was in Denver working out for the team before the draft – check it out here.
Ramon Galloway, 22 years-old: A senior out of La Salle (he played two seasons at South Carolina as well). He's an excellent three point shooter and shot 44-percent as a junior and 41-percent as a senior for La Salle and took 5.0 threes as a junior and 6.7 attempts as a senior. He's 6'1" and 174 pounds.
Galloway helped lead his team to three victories in the NCAA tournament this past season while averaging 18.7 points. He had 21 points in a win over Boise State, 19 points against No. 4 Kansas State, and 24 points against Ole Miss. He scored 11 points against Wichita State in the team’s 72-58 loss in the Sweet 16. Love guys that show up for big games and he had three really good games during March Madness.
Shooting guards:
Evan Fournier, 20 years-old: The Nuggets’ second year guard averaged 5.3 points on 49.3 percent shooting in 11.3 minutes of action during 38 games. He will be a big part of the Nuggets’ rotation next season and we’ll get to see how his game has grown.
Travis Releford, 23 years-old: He worked out for the Nuggets before the draft and will play for the team after also playing for the Indiana Pacers at the Orlando Summer League. Releford shot 41.5-percent from three point land last season for the Kansas Jayhawks with 2.5 attempts per game. He’s a long-shot to make an NBA roster, but this will be a good opportunity for him to showcase his skills. He also has a one-year deal to play for a team in Belgium the Okapi Aalstar.
Small forwards:
Jordan Hamilton, 22 years old: This will be Jordan's second Summer League trip, remember his rookie year the lockout cancelled SL. I see this as a make-or-break season for Hamilton with the Nuggets. He hasn't been able to get on the floor in the past under George Karl, but his window for an opportunity will present itself this season. Let's see how he has worked on his game.
Quincy Miller, 20 years-old: The second year forward has been working hard to add weight to his 6’9″ frame. He was listed last season at 210 pounds, but has been talking about being up around 230 towards the end of last season. It’ll be good to see how his body is maturing and how his game looks. Miller has been spending a lot of time in Denver working out at the Pepsi Center on his own and with the coaching staff (Melvin Hunt, Chad Iske, Patrick Mutombo, and John Welch).
Power forwards:
Rich Howell 22 years-old: He is an undersized power forward who played at NC State for four seasons and averaged a double-double last year: 12.7 points and 10.9 rebounds. He stands 6'7" and weighs 250 pounds. He made Scott Schroeder's list for "Top 15 undrafted players available":
It has to be disappointing to Wolfpack fans that neither Howell or the aforementioned Leslie was able to get drafted on Thursday night. Both have a good chance of showing up in training camp, though, as the undersized Howell's NBA strength and ability to rebound (10.9 rebounds this season, 3.7 on the offensive end) should make him a prime candidate for looks.
O.D. Anosike, 22 years-old: A senior out of Siena who goes 6'7" and 243 pounds. He's an athletic big man that likes to play above the rim. His production slightly dipped from his junior to senior season. He averaged 13.3 points and 11.4 rebounds in 37.1 minutes as a senior and 15 points and 12.5 rebounds as a junior in 36.8 minutes. Those rebounding numbers were good enough to lead the country in the category for back-to-back seasons. A nose for the ball could lead to a team offering him a trip to training camp.
Centers:
Kyle Barone, 23 years-old: He's listed at 6'10" and 220 pounds and played four years at Idaho. Barone averaged 17.2 points on 59-percent shooting and 9.8 rebounds last season. He's also a 78-percent free throw shooter who got to the line 6.8 times. It'll be interesting to see how his game looks in Vegas.

Preston Adams, Joel Barkers, Luke Harangody, Darius Johnson-Odom, Chace Stanbeck and Ben Uzoh.
Why no Joffrey Lauvergne, Izzet or Chu-Chu?
Joffrey Lauvergne, 21 years old and the 2013 55th pick: He goes 6’11” and 240 pounds and is an athletic big man. Stiffs reader John Kobbeman reached out to Joffrey via twitter to ask if he’s playing in Vegas, unfortunately Joffrey indicated that he will not be playing because of duties to the French National team.

Izzet Turkyilmaz, 23 years-old (2012-50th): The second year big man goes 7’1″ and 215 pounds. He is currently playing overseas.
Chukwudiebere Maduabum, 22 years-old (2011-56th): The 6’9″ and 215 pound forward has played the last two seasons with the Summer League team, but won’t be joining the Nuggets this season.
