Sorry for the delay and for the brevity of this post, but I am feeling a little under the weather. Hopefully the doctor can tell me what is wrong with my constantly spinning head when I see him this afternoon.
The Nuggets took care of business in Seattle and to me the best sign that they played a good game was that Anthony Carter finally lead the team in assists again for the first time in a month. When Carter leads the team in assists you know that meant they were running the floor and last night was another good example of that as Denver scored 38 fast break points last night. That is even more impressive when you see the Sonics only scored four fast break points.
Ultimately we cannot take much away from this game other than the fact the Nuggets finally took the right mental attitude into a game against a poor team. They will have to do so again tomorrow night as the play the Clippers in Denver.
After that, things will get very interesting with five straight games, three of them on the road, against teams ahead of them in the standings.
Check out Supersonicsoul to read how chagrined they are over the blowout loss to the Nuggets.
