Tomorrow's STIFFS NIGHT OUT might be our biggest and best yet and we're excited to announce that EVERYONE who attends gets entered into a drawing to win tickets to the Heat (11/15) and Warriors (11/23) games.
The Denver Nuggets are graciously giving us an assortment of giveaway prizes – including lower level Nuggets tickets – and we have a who's who of media guests joining us, as well. So not only do you get to meet your fellow Stiffs and win cool prizes, but you'll meet many Nuggets insiders including 104.3 The Fan's Sandy Clough, Mile High Sports Radio's Renaud Notaro, Travis Heath and Chris Bianchi, CBS Sports' Matt Moore, South Stands Denver's Colin Daniels and John Reidy, Denver Sports Nation's Dario Correa and Adam Kinney, and more to come!
Here's how the night is going to work: Stiffs should arrive at Jake's Food & Spirits around 5pm for check-in. When you check in, you'll get a name tag, enter yourself to win Nuggets tickets and pick up a trivia sheet. We do ask that trivia participants donate at least $1 with all proceeds going to Denver Hooperz, a local non-profit that offers basketball programs for at-risk Denver youth. Representatives from the Nuggets and the Hooperz will be with us all night.
While watching the Nuggets play at Miami, we will play Nuggets trivia between the 1st and 2nd quarters, at halftime and again between the 3rd and 4th quarters – with winners announced at halftime, between the 3rd and 4th quarters and post-game.
The first trivia question winner gets 4 NEW uniform Nuggets T-shirts, the second trivia winner gets an autographed JaVale McGee basketball and the third trivia winners gets 2 tickets to the Heat vs. Nuggets game at Pepsi Center on November 15th. EVERYONE else – including the first two trivia winners – are eligible to win a pair of tickets to the Heat vs. Nuggets game on November 15th and the Warriors vs. Nuggets game on November 23rd.
Also, Jake's Food & Spirits – our host for Saturday's festivities – will be serving up a $10 any beer / any burger combo special as well as $1 STIFFY Shots throughout the night. And for overflow purposes, Jake's will show the game – with audio – on its patio projector screen (and don't worry, Jake's has heaters and a fire pit out there to keep you warm).
This is the first SNO of the 2012-13 season and the 7th SNO!
