Nikola Jokic had an off night. He was getting killed on the defensive end and missed a handful of shots that he usually makes. He also started the game off with three ugly turnovers. Yet despite all of that, he still put up 23 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and two steals. He also got Rudy Gobert frustrated and in foul trouble, another in a long line of defesive minded centers that have struggled to figure out Jokic’s slow, awkward, yet insanely efficient game.
Yes, even when Jokic is bad he’s still good. Really, really good. Here are the highlights, in all their glory. Bask in it, Denver Nuggets fans. The Nuggets have themselves a legitimate star.
