One of the best things about these Nikola Jokic highlight videos is hearing the play-by-play crew for the opposing team gush about the talented Serbian center. Here are just a few of the highlights from last night’s game:

“He is…it’s just hard to find a hole (hold?” in his game.”
“Jokic just had the wisdom and the sense, the feel of the clock just to very quickly shoot that one.”
“I can’t remember you guys, a big…and I haven’t put a lot of thought to it, but a big with as good a feel for the game as Jokic.”
Jokic is doing everything he can to help carry the Nuggets into the playoffs. Over the last 10 games, he’s averaging 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists while shooting 52% from the field, 46% from behind the three-point line, and 90% from the FT line. He’s also contributing over a steal and block per game. Take that for data!
Still, despite a stellar month behind him, Jokic has his two toughest tests ahead of him. On Monday, Jusus Nurkic will come to town with the hopes of sending the Nuggets packing for summer vacation for the second year in a row. If the Nuggets manage to get the win in that game, they have an even bigger test when they’ll go on the road against Minnesota as Jokic will once again be pitted against Karl-Anthony Towns.
This will be an enormous test for Jokic. Two more great games and the narrative on his season and on the team’s season will shift. Nuggets fans already know how great Jokic can be at his best, and just frequently he plays at such a high level. Now we get to see how he plays with his back against a wall.
