The COVID-19 crisis has changed everything this year, and the draft was no exception. With the original date for the draft scheduled for June 25, that obviously is something that won’t be happening this year. The season hasn’t even come close to finishing, which is such a weird thing, considering we are normally still recovering from a Game Seven around this time of the year.

The NBA has announced they’ve rescheduled the draft to take place on October 16, with the lottery occurring at some point before then so the final draft order can be determined. Once the regular season concludes, we’ll be able to publish a mock draft with a better idea of where the teams will selecting.

For now, here’s a compilation of some mock drafts from different publications, along with my personal Big Board. I look forward to continuing to scout these prospects, and see how this draft shakes out. As I stated on the Nuggets Numbers podcast, it will be a unique draft, because we don’t know if teams will be able to conduct workouts, host players for interviews, or have a combine. If they do have workouts, how many players can participate? If they do have a combine, how many players get invited?

A crazy process being made even more chaotic sure makes the draft exciting this year.

As a reminder, the Denver Nuggets have the rights to the Houston Rockets first round pick via the four-team trade with Malik Beasley and Juancho Hernangomez this spring.
