Not much to say about this one. The Nuggets are on a roll, winning their last 13 games in a row … and surprising everyone in the league. Meanwhile Andrew Bynum’s knees have come back to haunt the 76ers. This makes who “won” the Dwight Howard trade more convoluted than ever – but lets say I’m happy with the Nuggets acquisition of Andre Iguodala.
This will be the second time Iguodala will be facing his former team. The other time was the first game of the season, and that was without Danilo Gallinari. As we all know, that particular Nuggets team bears very little resemblance to the one that is currently tearing through the NBA. However, it must be pointed out that the Sixers have won four of the last five times they have played the Nuggets. So the Nuggets must be wary at all times for an upset. Doug Collins, bless him seems to be on his last legs with this particular team. Collins is a good x's and o'x coach but his particular style always wears on players eventually. Happened in both Chicago and Detroit before this. Maybe it's time Collins returns to the TV analyst booth?
Nuggets of Wisdom
Wilson Chandler will sit this game out with a slightly separated shoulder. Shouldn't be sitting too long though. Ty Lawson is officially listed as day to day but he should play. Hopefully Gallo can break out of his recent three game shooting slump tonight.
Team needs to keep it rolling. Nate, Andy and I will all be in attendance at the game tonight. Let me know if you are going to be there and we can say hi before the game.
