One of the major players in this year’s NBA draft appears to be the 76ers. We early reported on a story that the 76ers were aggressively pursuing the Celtics‘ #3 overall pick in this year’s draft but apparently they have been having discsussions with the Timberwolves and Kings as well. The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports:
Sources: Sixers have had significant engagement w/ Boston (3), Minnesota (5) Sacramento (8) in past 24 hours. Boston talks continuing now.

The Nuggets are notably absent from that list and it is somewhat significant. While most stuff that goes on behind the scenes is NOT reported and half of what IS reported is either wrong, irrelevant, or only partially correct, Woj leaving the Nuggets off of the list seems to indicate that Denver is not in the fold for Nerlens Noel. The Nuggets have the #7 overall pick and would almost certainly be involved in this discussion if they were interested.
Again, speculating on a lot of things here so take it all with a grain of salt, but it appears at this point that the Nuggets are not in the mix for Noel or any other 76ers deal at this point. It's also very possible that the Nuggets are VERY interested and that this report was leaked in an effort to up the price tag.
