After the NBA Draft festivities concluded, Denver Nuggets President of Basketball Operations spoke to the Denver media about the prospects Denver selected. Michael Porter Jr., Jarred Vanderbilt, and Thomas Welsh are all intriguing prospects for Denver for different reasons, and Connelly was excited about adding three guys with contrasting skill sets to bolster Denver’s future.
From Porter’s elite shooting upside, to Vanderbilt’s elite rebounding and defense, to Welsh’s rebounding and outside shooting, the Nuggets hit this one out of the park. Connelly was very excited to talk to the media, a notable difference from last year’s festivities.
