Prior to joining the Nuggets, Flemming gained notoriety as the head coach for the German national team. He was known as an offensive minded coach before joining Denver. The remaining Denver assistants are Ed Pinckney, Wes Unseld Jr., Micah Nori, Ryan Bowen, Noel Gillespie, and Dee Brown.
Kenny Atkison served as an assistant to Mike Budenholzer in Atlanta for four years and is widely regarded as an excellent player development coach. He is also well liked and respected by many players around the league including the Nuggets’ own, Wilson Chandler, who played for Atkinson when he was a part of the New York Knicks.
