The Denver Nuggets worked out Jerian Grant from Notre Dame, Devin Booker from Kentucky and Sam Dekker from Wisconsin on Friday June 5th, 2015.
Thoughts on the various prospects (keeping in mind that you can't actually glean anything from workouts):
Jerian Grant – Very mature but also very raw. The best part about him is he seems to have that "point guard mentality". His shooting was a bit suspect, but his maturity and drive seemed to come across. That was by far the most impressive thing about what I saw of Grant.
Sam Dekker – I hate to be overly critical but I wasn't too impressed with Dekker's ability to shoot. His wind was very deliberate and he drifted a bit, it wasn't pure. Dekker isn't a 7th pick, but it was interesting to see where he lands
Devin Booker – I have to say Booker impressed me the most. I can definitely see him going in the 9-11 range in the draft. He's quite a bit more athletic than I anticipated and a better shooter. Also a decent kid who I anticipate will do well in the NBA once given some time.
