In this episode of the Locked On Nuggets podcast, I discuss the possibility that the Denver Nuggets are done with any major moves in free agency and will likely enter camp with a roster similar to the one that they have now, sans one or two players that depart in a salary dump.
After that I try to analyze where the Nuggets rank in the retooled and reloaded western conference. I don’t think they are a sure-fire playoff team. I actually think they are equal to about five other teams that will all be fighting for three playoff spots. What needs to happen for them to improve their odds and what are some of the obstacles between now and opening night?
Lastly, I discuss the departure of Danilo Gallinari and what he meant to the organization over the last 7 years, what his legacy will be, and why it was the right time for him and the Nuggets to go their separate ways.
