ESPN’s Uni Watch has got the scoop on the NBA’s Christmas uniforms for 2016, and they basically are the same as the 2015 versions, with the exception that there are more team colors incorporated. The Nuggets uniforms feature their yellow alternate color with sky blue Christmas lettering that was prominently featured on the 2015 jerseys.
Personally, I'm pretty meh on these. I'm not the biggest fan of the team looking like a bunch of highlighters running around on the court and it seems like Adidas just recycled last year's design (let's just say the designers over there might already have one foot out the door). Of course, this is probably all for not. The NBA releases a Christmas version jersey for each team but only 10 teams actually end up wearing them as the rest of the league gets the holiday off. Given the fact that the Nuggets played a grand total of 0 games on national TV last season, I'd say the chances of them getting a slot on Christmas day is highly unlikely. The team last played on Christmas day in 2012.
