Petr Cornelie is just what one would expect out of a late second rounder, big man with solid athleticism and a high motor but extremely raw and still needs a lot of development before he would be an NBA level guy. He has shown the ability to shoot out to the three point range and could potentially be a stretch big down the road. Another concern about Corneile has to be his age, already 21 years old and still a long way off from making it into the NBA, it seems doubtful that he'll ever crack the league.
The #Nuggets are expected to sell the 56th pick to OKC

Meanwhile, according to Chris Dempsey, the Nuggets also used their 56th pick on everyone’s favorite player….cash considerations. In the end it makes sense, the chances of a back end 2nd rounder making an impact in the Association is very slim and with the Nuggets already picking up stash candidates Juancho Hernangomez and Cornelie adding another player is somewhat redundant…maybe they’ll use that cash to buy shirts for everyone in the stands when the team finally returns to the playoffs.
