The Utah Jazz look to make the playoffs
The Denver Nuggets take on the Utah Jazz on Monday night. After widely being expected to be the worst team in the league last season, the Jazz surprised many with their hot start. Ultimately they regressed to the mean as the season went on and missed the playoffs but CEO Danny Ainge stated in an interview with Deseret News that the team believes they can return to the postseason with all star Lauri Markkanen, trade acquisition John Collins and promising young center Walker Kessler. If Utah can get some consistent scoring on the wings, and the interview also mentions how Utah will still look to be active in upgrading their roster, they very well may make their 2024 postseason dreams a reality.
MHS vlogs ring night at Ball Arena
The Nuggets dropping the banner and getting their rings is a moment we’ll want to re-live over and over again. Luckily, our friends over at Mile High Sports were at Ball Arena for the festivities on opening night. Check out the vlog of the entire evening with sound bites from Aniello Piero, Ryan Blackburn, Swipacam, Danny Williams and the King of Thornton Jeff Morton.
The Nuggets championship rings are crazy
Speaking of the Nuggets rings, over at ESPN they gave a nice breakdown of the features in Denver’s new hardware, including an interview with Jason Arasheben who was the jeweler that collaborated on the design. It seems every year, every championship ring gets a bit more extravagant and ridiculous and the Nuggets, with their ring within a ring concept, are certainly no exception.

Peyton Watson tabbed to breakout for Denver
Over at CBS they ran through every NBA team and picked one player poised to have a breakout year. For the Denver Nuggets, that player is Peyton. So far CBS’ early prognostications are paying dividends as Watson appears to have a consistent role in Denver’s rotation as a combo forward off the bench and has been making the most of his minutes with a number of highlight blocks just a couple games into the season.
