In this episode of the Locked On Nuggets podcast, I share my notes on the Nuggets’s disappointing loss to the Knicks behind a career night from Kristaps Porzingis. I talk about how the Nuggets allowed Porzingis to get comfortable early and how his initial outburst wouldn’t have been too bad if it weren’t for the lack of effort on the glass. Kyle O’Quinn dominated the second unit on the boards and pushed a large lead to what turned out to be an insurmountable one.
I also talk about how Denver turned defense into fast break opportunities and got hot in the second half and why that is both encouraging but also worrisome if Denver continues to struggle in the half court.
As I mentioned on last night’s episode, the Locked On Network has a new home. We have left audioboom and are now on Megaphone. This won’t mean anything to those who get their podcasts from iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play, or other podcast apps but it does mean that new episodes will no longer be on the audioboom app or on their site.
Also, if you want to leave a review on iTunes and have not been able to yet, simply open your apple phone, go to the podcast app, search LOCKED ON NUGGETS, click on the Locked On Nuggets podcast, then click on REVIEWS, and there you can leave a rating and write a quick blurb to let me know how I’m doing with the show. Reviews help the show grow and reach new listeners.
