During the press conference for Tim Connelly and Michael Malone on Media Day, Coach Malone made some intriguing comments on Jusuf Nurkic and his progress with his knee. When asked whether he would be out for the start of training camp or out for the start of the season, Malone was ambiguous but stated that he may not be ready to start the season. Connelly then went on to say that Nurkic was ahead of schedule after the surgery on his left patella tendon, but that he would not put an official timetable on his return.
Right now, based on both of their comments, it seems likely that he will miss at least a few regular season games.
