Nate Duncan’s Dunc’d On podcast is one of the best NBA podcasts on the interwebs. Over the course of the last couple of weeks, he’s been previewing every team in the league, bringing on guests who are especially familiar with the team in question. This week Nate brought on Matt Moore who is a writer for CBSsports.com, creator of Hardwood Paroxsym, and friend of the Denver Stiffs.
The duo have a very interesting discussion and provide a lot of really great insights into this Nuggets team, franchise, roster, coaching staff, and more.
My favorite part of the discussion was when Matt discussed his conversations with Malone that indicated what he learned from watching the Warriors win the title last season. I plan on writing about this more in depth in the near future but Malone, like many coaches, was probably much more of an “old school” coach before seeing the Warriors (and to a lesser extent the 2014 Spurs) win NBA titles with very “new school” styles of play.
