The Tweet of the Week this time comes from Malik Beasley, for describing a situation we’ve all been in. After a particularly long day, and feeling exhausted, you settle in to take a short nap on the couch in front of the TV. When you wake up, after what feels like hours but was only actually 30 minutes, your eyes are groggy and drool is forming on your pillow. You get up and go to the bathroom, and as you pass the mirror you notice the red lines that are now placed directly on your face, right where that pillow was glued to your cheek just moments ago.
The lines are a symbol of how committed you were to that nap. For those 30 minutes, your face and your pillow became one. It was glorious. But now it’s over, and it’s time to shake off the grogginess and get back to the daily grind. You just hope the lines go away before anybody sees them.
