February 10th was a night to remember for Paul Millsap. Not only was it his 35th birthday, but he had a great game to help the Denver Nuggets achieve an inspiring comeback victory against the San Antonio Spurs after being down 23 points. Millsap caught fire in this matchup, scoring 22 points on 8/13 shooting, including 4/5 three pointers. He became a year older, but it was a vintage performance to say the least.
To make the night even more memorable, his daughter, Yani, took the Western Union First Shot and made it. You could tell Millsap was a proud father as he immediately approached his daughter to give her a hug.
On Tuesday, Millsap took to Twitter to call this a proud dad moment.
It’s always nice to see a different side from the players than what we typically see. Millsap was a beast on the court that night, but in that moment before the game, he was just a father.
