This episode of the Denver Stiffs show is a solo pod with Zach Mikash. First he shares his thoughts on the passing of Denver Nuggets legend Dikembe Mutombo and how Deke was a man whose legacy is far larger than basketball. After that the discussion turns to the Nuggets preseason opener against the Boston Celtics. Zach describes four storylines he’s looking at to start the preseason. First, who will be the starter at the two guard spot and how will they mesh with the other starters? Second, how will Russell Westbrook mesh not only with the bench unit but also with the starting group and when and for whom will Michael Malone sub Russ in for? Third, will Dario Saric be able to replicate more of the Nikola Jokic offense than backup fives in the past and finally the show ends with Hunter Tyson and whether or not he can make something of the opportunity in front of him with Peyton Watson’s injury.
Thank you to Dikembe Mutombo
