Tonight, the Denver Nuggets head into the Grind house looking to win their second game in a row. Fortunately for Denver, the Grind house this season has been more like the somewhat firmly press with a pestle house. To make matters worse for the Grizz (and better for the Nuggets) is starting PG Mike Conley is listed as doubtful for tonight’s contest. Additionally, Zach Randolph, the GrindFather, has moved from the starting line up to the bench. All in all, Memphis has had an up and down season.
For the Nuggets, things seem to be turning the corner – at least on the health front. This past week has seen the return of Danilo Gallinari and Jusuf Nurkic, and tonight we could get the long anticipated return to action of Emmanuel Mudiay. It’s now up to Michael Malone to mold his (almost) completely healthy roster into a coherent and effective team on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. With an eight game home stand – one without any back to backs – on the horizon, he should have a good amount of practice time to do just that.
