I’m going to be honest…as we wind down to the end of the end of the season, I’m finding I have less and less to say about each specific game. Not because I am less interested in each game. Not because I don’t watch each game rooting on each possession for Nuggets success. Not because I don’t still live and breathe Nuggets basketball. No, not for any of those reasons. I find myself ready and waiting for seeing where this team can get to. I am ready to see Emmanuel Mudiay, Nikola Jokic, Jusuf Nurkic, Gary Harris, the rest of the current roster , and whatever rookie(s) we add this off season perform in the 2016-’17 NBA campaign. I am soooooo excited, pumped, intrigued, just plain ready to see what this team can do next year.
As to tonight's game, it is one that the Nuggets should win, even considering the current state of the small forward position. The Sixers are not a good team, and they are as least as injured as the Nuggets. I hope that the Nuggets come out with passion, verve, effort, and the will to win. Even if I acknowledge my own ennui at the remaining schedule, the Denver Nuggets need to treat these last eleven games as a launching point for next season. They need to see how playing the right way will begin to establish a launching off platform for next year.
Also, I have a new victory gif, so the Nuggets better win, damn it!
