According to Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune, the Denver Nuggets are among the teams to express interest in signing free agent point guard George Hill.
Hill, a 31-year-old guard that spent the previous season as a member of the Utah Jazz, has played for three franchises over his nine seasons in the league.
Hill played in 49 games for the Jazz last season, dealing with a variety of injuries that hampered his play. Hill has developed a reputation as a solid point guard, with a reliable 3-point shot and outstanding defensive play on the perimeter. The Jazz had a 33-16 record in games Hill played in last season – that’s a .673 winning percentage, and Hill was a key factor in that.
Adding Hill would likely be troubling news for one of Jameer Nelson, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Monte Morris. It would be unlikely that the Nuggets enter the 2017-18 season with five point guards on their roster.
