Today the Denver Nuggets completed a trade that sent combo guard Randy Foye to the Oklahoma City Thunder for D.J. Augustin, Steve Novak (who will be bought out) and two second round picks. So ends the last vestige of the sign and trade that allowed the Golden State Warriors to sign Andre Iguodala in the summer of 2013 … cementing his status as “The Mole”.
Additionally, according to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Nuggets are looking to buy out power forward/center J.J. Hickson before March 1st to make him eligible to be picked up by another team.
ESPN sources say Denver, in addition to Steve Novak, will grant contract buyout to J.J. Hickson before March 1 playoff-eligibility deadline

Rather than piling on both, I choose to write this in tribute to each man’s best moment in Denver. First, we have Randy Foye in 2014 hitting a game winning shot against the Los Angeles Clippers:
Wasn’t that cool? Came right on the heels of the Denver Broncos brutal loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.
As for J.J. Hickson. We have to go all the way back to the beginning of his first season in Denver. Marvin Williams got dunked on:
Starvin' Marvin is now deceased.
Goodbye Randy and J.J. hope you guys reach the heights you couldn't achieve in Denver.
