In his first game against his former team, Aaron Gordon put on a show dropping 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field to go along with seven rebounds and two assists. It all started in the first quarter for Gordon as he scored 12 points, which also just so happened to be the Nuggets first 12 points of the game.
Gordon was locked in from the opening tip and played with tremendous energy for all 34 of his minutes. His best play may have come in the third quarter as Gordon made a phenomenal block then proceeded to run the ball up the floor passing it to Nikola Jokic before getting the ball back to finish an incredible and-1 lay in.
It was highlight after highlight for Gordon as he’s fit in perfectly with the Nuggets through four games. Denver is now 4-0 with Gordon in the lineup and has shown no signs — excluding the first half tonight — of slowing down since he’s been inserted into the starting lineup.
