Nikola Jokic has been the team’s leading scorer more often than not lately so with him out of the lineup, the question was ‘who will step up and carry the scoring load?’
The answer, as expected, was Danilo Gallinari. Gallo was cooking early in the game and kept the Nuggets afloat when the rest of the team was ice cold. He kept that hot touch throughout the game and, as he always does, kept drawing fouls and getting to the line throughout the game. It was a very strong showing for the Rooster and hopefully a sign of things to come in the second half of the season. If Gallo can stay hot like he was tonight, the Nuggets are going to coast to the playoffs.
