It just comes easy for the Denver Nuggets superstar big man. Tuesday night was just another notch in the belt to Nikola Jokic’s phenomenal start to the season as he put up another great stat line in the Nuggets 119-101 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In just three quarters, Jokic scored 27 points on 12-of-21 shooting from the field to go along with 12 rebounds and six assists. Jokic’s best stat of the night might have been just the one turnover, which is three (4.2) below his season average.
Because he played so well, Jokic was able to sit the entire fourth quarter and played just 28 minutes, which is a season low. The Nuggets are about to embark on their toughest stretch of games — 5-game road trip — so far this season, so Jokic definitely got some much needed rest tonight.
