With the 14th pick, the Denver Nuggets selected Missouri freshman Michael Porter Jr. Porter Jr. was certainly the most polarizing prospect in this draft – not because of his tremendous offensive skillset, but because of an unfortunate back injury suffered which has placed huge question marks over his health.
Porter Jr., who was a the top high school prospect of 2017, only played three games in his college career at Missouri. But for all the injury concern, the upside is there. If Porter Jr. stays healthy he could be one of the missing pieces the Nuggets desperately need on the wing.
