Over the summer we received a lot of mail from Denver Nuggets fans who wanted to find a bar where they could hangout with the Stiffs and cheer on the Denver Nuggets. Our official watch parties are already the most fun Nuggets event outside of Pepsi Center but those are full-out parties, complete with prize giveaways, an MC, and a wild and fun atmosphere.
We decided to come up with “Stiffs Hangouts,” a more casual event where Nuggets fans are welcome to gather, have a beer and some food, and watch the game. No DJ or P.A. system, just a Nuggets game and an open door for Nuggets fans.
We hope to host one or two of these per month throughout the season so we’re kicking things off with a hangout this Wednesday at The Celtic on Market. Come join us for this low-key watch party. I’ll be there along with a few of the other Stiffs, hoping to chat with our readers, podcast listeners, and fellow Nuggets fans and to cheer on the team as they attempt to keep the winning streak alive against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Celtic on Market has been a staple in Denver for years and is home to the only Off Track Betting (OTB) facility in town. They have a great chef and a full menu of Irish themed bar food and a full bar with a wide variety of craft, domestic, and foreign beer. With plenty of TVs and some comfortable couch seating, the Celtic is a great place to meet fellow Nuggets fans and hangout among friends, both old and new.
