It was already announced on Sunday that Will Barton III (right knee soreness) and Gary Harris (right hip muscle strain) would miss their second consecutive game in the bubble, but now it has been confirmed the Nuggets will be without starting point guard Jamal Murray (left hamstring tightness) as well.
During his pregame presser this morning, Michael Malone was asked the question of whether or not these guys would be able to play if today was a playoff game and his answer was a little concerning.
The Nuggets still have seven games — including today — before the postseason begins, but that all starts in just over two weeks. It sounds like Barton and Harris may be a ways away from returning, while Murray’s hamstring injury has to be a major concern as well.
Denver has three games in the next four days, the first of which starts at the top of the hour against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
