The Locked On Nuggets podcast is a 15-30 minute podcast focused solely on the Denver Nuggets. In today’s episode, I am joined by a fantastic writer and draft expert from TheRinger.com, Jonathan Tjarks. Tjarks just wrote a piece on two NBA draft prospects that are of particular interest to the Denver Nuggets, OG Anunoby and Jonathan Isaac. Both players are versatile defensively and may even excel in short stretches at the center position.
Many mock drafts have Anunoby going 13th in the draft which is right where the Denver Nuggets are likely to be picking. Isaac is projected to go around 8th in the lottery but the Nuggets may be able to make a draft day trade to move up and grab him if they feel he is somebody that they must have. Tjarks does a great job of breaking down the positives and negatives of both guys and how they might fit in the NBA and on the Denver Nuggets. We also talk briefly about some of the trends in this year’s playoffs.
