The Denver Nuggets season is over. While they didn’t end up getting to the playoffs, the season they played was one of the mor exciting in recent memory. Several players and coach Michael Malone were at the Pepsi Center today to meet with the media and discuss the 2017-2018 season. Along with Malone, Gary Harris, Trey Lyles, Torrey Craig, Richard Jefferson, Malik Beasley, Devin Harris and Paul Millsap shared their thoughts on the season.
While it certainly wasn’t the year that everyone was hoping for, the way Denver fought down to the very last moment on the backs of a group that was compromised of mostly players who were 23 and under should give a lot of hope for a fanbase that is anxious to get back to the playoffs. Coach Malone showed growth over the year as well and coached at his best during the final weeks of the season. At the end of the day this team improved this season and it seems very likely that exit interviews might not start happening until May or beyond in the coming seasons.
