The 6-foot-5-inch guard did have a few minutes for the Nuggets during the preseason, but was extremely unlikely to earn a roster spot with the team. Getting practice time with a NBA team isn't for nothing, though, and he was able to reach an agreement to play overseas. The former Northeastern Husky will have more opportunities to work on his game than he would here with the Nuggets. Perhaps someday the Nuggets will have their own D-League team, and players like Janning will be able to stick with the organization in that setting.
Until then, may the wind be at your back, and happy trails Mr. Janning.
