Media Day interviews are always rushed, but there will be a bunch of them. First out of the gate with Altitude 950 today was Artūras Karnišovas, the general manager of the Denver Nuggets. He gave several minutes of his time talking about how proud he was of Denver’s late-season effort and Denver’s efforts to improve their defense.
A few of the notable items:
“Paul Millsap is full and healthy and ready to go.”
“We’re going to wait until [Isaiah Thomas] is healthy… we’ll have to wait a little bit until he is healthy.”
“There’s no timeline for Michael [Porter Jr]… He’s been working every day with our trainers.”
He also listed Jarred Vanderbilt next to Porter Jr and Thomas as one of the guys not at full strength, but all that was to be expected. Everyone else rolls into training camp healthy and ready to go. Feel free to give the whole interview a listen, and get ready for a lot more!
