You can always tell when Danilo Gallinari is in a good mood. He will play around with people after practice. While we were setting up for his media scrum he teased one of the camera men from Channel 4 and gave him a Gatorade and some protein bars. Also Gallo likes to mess around a bit. Particularly with his friends on the team. Today it was assistant John Beckett who is about as tall as I am. Gallo vs. Short people again (all in good fun).
A couple seasons ago Gallo used to have little competitions with Timofey Mozgov after practice. Good friends those two. This had a very similar, and very positive vibe that we quite frankly haven’t seen out of Gallo since he injured his ACL in April of 2013. This was fully confident, brash Rooster that we all know and love.
During his media scrum, Gallo talked about head Coach Michael Malone and his immediate effect on this Nuggets team, particularly when it comes to Defense.
All in all a very fun video today. We also get to see Nate Timmons shoes … that's all you'll see of that turncoat on Denver Stiffs this year :-p (kidding … mostly)
