The end of today’s Denver Nuggets practice at Pepsi Center appeared to be a bit loose. Players shooting at their respective baskets. It was nice, according to head coach Michael Malone to have a FULL compliment of players at his disposal for the first time in a couple weeks.
Additionally Malone spoke about how the team was a bit sloppy to start practice today and needed to regain focus. He mentioned that sometimes the day after a day off can be the worst for keeping a team focused. However, according to Malone the Nuggets regained their focus by the end of practice.
Nikola Jokic and Jusuf Nurkic shot around for a bit. Not sure when Juka will be back on the floor, but it definitely looks like he is moving less stiffly and seems to be having a bit of fun. Jokic relentlessly works on his shot. He is seen shooting at every practice I’ve attending. It’s interesting to notice the dedication.
