The Denver Nuggets held a pre-Summer League mini camp at Pepsi Center on Tuesday, July 8th at Pepsi Center. I was there to capture some highlights with the use of my trusty iphone. Yay technology!
After some clips of some intra-squad scrimmages, the second-to-last clip in the highlight package features Gary Harris doing some catch and shoot drills with Nuggets assistant coaches. This was going on for over an hour as Harris shot again, and again, and again. He looked very good in doing so. The last clip features former Colorado Buffalo Carlon Brown in his media scrum. Didn’t get to see much of Carlon, but is was very good to see him on the Nuggets summer league roster.
In addition to the afore mention Harris, Erick Green was very impressive. He has a funky shot but it was affective and he looked quite a bit more confident in his approach. I did not get video of him but I hope to capture some on day two of camp on Wednesday.
