We’re only halfway into their sophomore seasons but Nikola Jokic and Karl-Anthony Towns have already established themselves as two of the best big men in the game. In their first matchup in Denver, Towns had a triple double while Jokic put up 16-8-11. I thought Jokic outplayed Towns in that game as Denver won by two points in one of the best games of the year.
Towns seemed to also think Jokic got the best of him since he came into last night’s game with a chip on his shoulder and a determination to go right at Jokic. Towns won last night’s battle, outplaying Jokic and leading the Wolves to a win in another classic game but both guys showed glimpses of what they are capable of right now.
Check out the highlights and get excited that these two guys will be playing each other at least four times every year for the next decade.
