Losing by 20 points is always tough no matter who the opponent is, but once again sophomore center Nikola Jokic shined brightly and showed that he’s arguably the best player on this Nuggets roster.
In his 26 minutes, Joker tied his career high with 27 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out four assists. He shot an incredible 10 of 12 from the field, an astounding 83.3 percent. And to top it off, he also finished +2 for the Nuggets, an impressive feat given the nature of the loss.
