As if there was ever a doubt…

Not only is Jokic a finalist, but he is a heavy favorite to win when you look at most sportsbooks. Jokic is currently at -7000 to win league MVP on Fan Duel. To put that number into perspective, if you bet $100 on Jokic to win MVP you would only win $1.43. So, Vegas is basically calling Jokic a lock for MVP, which is something everyone in Denver has been preaching all season long.
Even when the narrative switched to players like Embiid, Curry, or even Chris Paul as challengers to bring home league MVP, the play of Jokic never wavered. Not only did Jokic play and start in every one of the Nuggets 72 games this season, but he did so averaging career-highs in points (26.4), rebounds (10.8), and assists (8.3) per game.
Now the real fun begins as Jokic and the Nuggets put their talents on full display with the hopes of making a deep playoff run. The Nuggets go as Jokic goes and if the regular season was any indication, Denver easily has what it takes to make a run at the championship.
