The Denver Nuggets announced on Tuesday they’ve signed Greg Whittington to a two-way contract.
Whittington now joins Marquette sensation Markus Howard as the Nuggets other two-way player. Denver opened up a two-way spot for Whittington by signing Bol Bol to a two-year, $4.2 million contract earlier today.
After going undrafted in 2015, Whittington spent two years in the NBA G-League before going to play overseas. Whittington most recently played for Galatasaray of the Turkish BSL averaging 12.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 25 games. Whittington’s also spent time playing in three other counties: Australia (Sydney Kings, 2016-17), Japan (Levanga Hokkaido, 2017-18), Israel (Hapoel Gilboa Galil, 2018-19).
Here are some highlights of the Nuggets newest addition. Welcome to Denver, Greg Whittington!
