The Nuggets are on the second of a back-to-back after a tough OT loss last night to New Orleans Facts Charlotte is going for seven home wins in a row.

The Denver Nuggets kick off the second game of a back to back on this East Coast road trip tonight with a visit to the Charlotte Bobcats. Charlotte has not always proven a formidable foe for the Nuggets, even for games in Charlotte, but the Bobcats are having one of their better home seasons since their single playoff run in the 2009-2010 season. If Charlotte wins tonight, they’ll match their second-longest home winning streak in history.

On the other side of the equation, your Nuggets come of a dispiriting loss to the New Orleans Pelicans last night. Leading by 16 (twice) in the first half, Denver found a way to lose after a terrible 3rd quarter and an extra frame. All of the starters (save Timofey Mozgov) were hovering in the 40-minute-plus range, and there could be some tired legs on the court tonight for the Nuggets.

Charlotte comes off a bad loss of their own, having dropped a game at Memphis by 22 points on Saturday night. The Bobcats will have the advantage of rest and home cooking in their favor to lighten that load. If the Nuggets hope to split this back-to-back after last night, they may need some help from unexpected contributors this evening.

What do you expect to see tonight, Nuggets Nation? Can we pick this one up after letting the Pelicans slip away?
