The heart of the offseason continues, and while trade rumors abound and the whereabouts of Mason Plumlee's contract remain unavailable, there are some lighter moments happening. Kenneth Faried had an interview with More Than Stats about footwear, among other things. His advice to last year’s rookies Jamal Murray and Malik Beasley? “Don’t wear no Ugg’s.”
Faried spent the day at New York Fashion Week and the whole interview covered several more fashion and wealth related topics.
“Plenty of times I had the opportunity [to attend Men’s Fashion Week,] but took it for granted. This time around I decided to show face and see what it’s really about.” said the 27-year-old Denver Nuggets Forward.
We caught up with Kenneth during day 2 of Men’s Fashion Week for a 1-on-1 interview at Skylight Clarkson SQ.
The 6’8″ Hooper spoke on his first-ever New York Fashion Week: Men’s trip, shared some fashion advice he would give to his new rookie teammates, thoughts to start a clothing line with Russell Westbrook, and his definition of being “wealthy. ”
Beasley then took the opportunity to ride Jamal Murray about a certain pair of black Uggs that may or may not be in his possession.
