Last year during the first ever Ping Pong charity event at Exdo Event Center an amazing $15,000 was raised for the Doreen Katz Memorial Cancer Foundation to benefit children who’s parents suffer from cancer. This was largely due to the amazing work and effort put in by Negah Connelly (wife of Denver Nuggets General Manager Tim Connelly) and the tremendous event she organized.
This year needs a to be as big a success, or even greater, as once again the Connelly’s have put together an amazing night of ping pong and good times to benefit "Bags of Fun" a charity that provides bags/backpacks for children who suffer from major illnesses to bring some joy into their lives.
The Event will be Wednesday September 21st, 2016 at Exdo Events Center in the River North District of Denver on 1399 35th St. Denver Stiffs own Andrew Feinstein was good enough to host the event in his building. Door opens at 6:30 and tickets are $50 at the door. The event will run until 10pm. The Ping Pong event will begin at 7pm. Tickets include Food and Open Bar.
As with Last year, expect several Nuggets players and other local sports celebrities to attend including Broncos and Avalanche players (list of official celebrity attendee’s will be announced a week before the event)
Please Join Tim and Negah Connelly for this worthy and tremendous cause to brighten up the lives of children afflicted with severe illness.
