The Denver Nuggets suffered a 127-120 loss to the Utah Jazz last night, but luckily for them they’re right back at it tonight with a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. A battle between two of the leagues best teams, Saturday night should have no shortage of fireworks with Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter Jr., Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving all on display at Ball Arena.
When the two teams met earlier this season in Brooklyn the Nets were able to pull off a 122-116 victory behind 34 points from Kevin Durant. The Nuggets will have to find a way to slow him down tonight if they want to get back into the win column. A big game from Jokic and Porter would help as well, which they are fully capable of doing.

What to watch for:
It’ll be interesting to see how the Nuggets bounce back after last nights tough loss to Utah. Denver has been remarkable on the second night of back to backs each of the past two seasons, so there’s no doubt they’ll be ready to play once the ball tips off. The Nuggets will only have to see two of the Nets big three in Durant and Irving as James Harden is still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

With five games left in the regular season — including tonight — the Nuggets still sit comfortably in the Western Conference playoffs having already clinched a spot last week. The Nuggets currently sit at fourth in the West a game behind the Los Angeles Clippers for third. If the playoffs started tomorrow, the Nuggets would matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.
