The Denver Nuggets are back in action tonight as they look to take a 2-0 series lead over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. After a pretty convincing double-digit victory in game one, the Nuggets will look to play even better basketball tonight to take a firm grip on the series. By no means do the Nuggets think they played their best in game one and they were still able to walk away victorious. If the Nuggets play their brand of basketball that we have seen all season tonight, the scoreboard should take care of itself for the good guys.
The two players I’ll be watching tonight are Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon, who did a great job setting the tone in game one from the jump with his physicality inside. For Jokic, he only attempted three shots in the first half, but went to work scoring the ball in the second half to finish with 27 points. Jokic always does a great job of letting he game come to him, so we’ll see what the Heat have in store for him tonight.
