Tonight your Denver Nuggets travel to Oakland to face the defending champion Golden State Warriors. This will be the third time that the teams have faced each other, but the first time they have faced them with Jusuf Nurkic this season. Nurkic will make his season debut after missing the first two months due to a torn pattelar ligament. This also marks the return of Danilo Gallinari after missing about a week and a half due to a sprained ankle.
The Warriors, in kind, will likely see the return of their superstar guard Stephen Curry, who sat out the previous 2 games resting his sore calf muscle. Which is, of course, bad news for the Nuggets.
It will be interesting to see how this Nuggets team incorporates Nurkic back into the fold. He will, of course, be minutes-restricted and likely coming off the bench … but curious observers want to see what the Nuggets do with the big man and how he will help their defense.
Here is yesterday’s video from practice. Nurkic didn’t seem to be too worried about the Golden State Warriors record.
Enjoy the game tonight! Will be good to see Juka get a chance to shine again. Maybe he will mock Andrew Bogut or something?
