March is finally over, and what a century it was. After seeing the NBA season suspended on national TV and the Nuggets’ promising season cut short amidst a devastating global emergency, The Dig went into isolation along with the rest of Colorado (and Pennsylvania). But it’s finally time for us to take back some normalcy from this virus.
Frankly, it took us awhile to get our situations sorted out and to figure out what to do with the show. We still aren’t sure exactly where we’ll end up. Maybe some “Fill in the Blank” about movies or pop culture; perhaps some “Are We Sure” about Carole from The Tiger King. Much depends on the virus. But please know that we want to do our very small part to make this situation a bit more bearable for everyone stuck at home, working essential jobs, or caring for the health of themselves or their family. If we can give you a laugh or something fun or positive to think on for a moment, it’ll have been worth it. We love you all, and we wish the best to you and your loved ones.
So with that, here’s a long one. If you want Nuggets talk, skip to about the 45-minute mark. If you want to hear some wandering thoughts about quarantine life, TikTok, and other things we’ve learned the last three weeks, jump in!
The Dig is a Denver Nuggets podcast hosted by Nick Hertzog and Jeremy Poley that attempts to put its finger on the pulse of the most dominant narrative each week. In case of a pandemic, The Dig is definitely not your source for anything resembling advice or guidance. For everyone in need of some human interaction during this time, though, the hosts offer their musings and tangents.
