Kenneth Faried, Ty Lawson, and Wilson Chandler played confidently and carried the Denver offense, but the defense gave up too many easy buckets against a lethal Raptor team and the Nuggets fell to Toronto 116-102
The Denver bench could not match the firepower of Toronto’s as Lou Williams punished the Nuggs once again, lighting up for 31 points. Williams has now scored more points in each of his two games against Denver than any other opposing bench player the Nuggets have faced this season.
Kyle Lowry added 30 points of his own and 11 assists for another double-double against Toronto.
Kenneth Faried secured his third double-double in a row by putting up 17 points and bringing down 19 rebounds. He was running on both ends of the court leading to ally oops, offensive rebounds, even his defensive goaltending on a fast break brought needed energy into the arena. Ty Lawson had 28 points and 7 assists. Wilson Chandler had a double-double too with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
